Erin Kelley and Darcy Scott moved to New York after their years of collage as best friends. They each pursued a different career. Darcy is a decorator and Erin is a jewelry designer. One day, both decide to start answering personal ads that one of Darcy’s friends is running. She is a TV producer and wanted to research sort of people who answer personal ads in well-known magazines. At first, Erin and Darcy are just enjoying themselves and having fun, but they don’t know what’s in store for them. One day Erin seems to disappear.

Erin Kelley’s body is found a few days after her disappearance on an abandoned pier in Manhattan. The strange thing was that she was wearing one of her shoes and one high-heeled dancing slipper. Soon after this occurs, the killer reveals some of the other victims he has killed, which means Erin was not the first. Surprisingly, Darcy is his next victim.

Loves Music, Loves to Dance is a very exciting, energetic book. I could not put it down; I just wanted to keep reading. Mary Higgins Clark writes a fantastic novel that can be related to real life situations. She is a great writer and tells astonishing stories. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves an excellent, adventurous mystery, or loves a good Mary Higgins Clark book.
