Best Friends For Never is a story about Massie Block and Claire Lyons who are the normal teenage enemies. The only difference in their situation is that Claire lives in the Block family guest house. Both of their parents wish they could become friends, and their parents would do anything to make it happen. Massie, being the brilliant con-artist, uses this to her advantage, and gets exactly what she wishes, the best Halloween party of the school, by agreeing to co-host with Claire. Unfortunately Claire gets tricked in the process, and ends up being the tag along to Massie’s fun boy-girl plans, not getting a say in anything, and still being the loser outcast. Under these conditions how could Claire feel welcome at her so called party, unless she was to meet someone to make the night perfect?

Meanwhile Claire and Massie have a vicious bet going on, where Massie can’t go shopping for a month and Claire can’t wear the same thing twice, which started after Claire’s annoying little brother, Todd, spilled grape juice all over Massie, and her emotions broke out. The loser of this bet had to wear the most embarrassing thing in the world to school, and neither of them was willing to let that happen. Could this brutal competition bring Claire and Massie closer, or will it take one of Massie’s best friends ditching her in order for her to realize that Claire isn’t that much of a loser after all?
