Bella Swan, a senior in the little town of Forks, is in love with a vampire, but is he the only one that she loves? When Edward left, for Bella’s sake, it sent her into a depression, a depression so deep no one thought she would ever escape it. Then she started hanging out with Jacob Black and thing started to look up for the heartbroken teenager. In the book Eclipse, by Stephenie Meyer, Bella is torn between Jacob, who she became best friends with, the only person that could make her smile when Edward was gone, and Edward himself, the love of her life who has returned to her. Not only does she have to choose between the two envious boys, Victoria, the revengeful mate of the recently killed James, is back. She believes that because Edward took the life of her companion that she should destroy his. She spends the majority of the book trying to get to Bella, trying to kill her before anyone can save her. Does she get to her when there is no one there to protect her?

Eclipse is the third book in Meyer’s series. The first is Twilight, the second is New Moon, and the fourth book, Breaking Dawn is coming out in August. At this time they are starting to film the movie Twilight. These books are remarkable, Meyer goes into such detail that you feel what Bella feels. When you are reading them you feel as if you were Bella, you can feel her love, anger, exhilaration; all of her emotions embody you. The Twilight series is outstanding, from the second you pick up the first book you can’t stop reading until you have finished.

I am madly in love with the series. To any fans, the fourth, Breaking Dawn is being released August 2, 2008. Stephenie is also writing a fifth, Midnight Sun, which is a re-release of Twilight, only told in Edward's point of view. I can't wait. Check out twighlightteens.com or stepheniemeyer.com for any updates on the books or movie.
