Katherine Danzinger, who has a new boyfriend, Michael Wagner, and is going into her senior year of high school, is in for an exciting year. With her best friend, Erica, and her new boyfriend, Artie, by her side Katherine will experience new things and feelings everyday. At a New Years party for Erica’s cousin, Sybil Davidson, Katherine meets a guy that will change her life forever. For Michael, it was practically love at first sight with Katherine. Katherine falls madly in love with Michael but doesn’t want to move to fast and ruin the relationship.
This book is a wonderful book that will keep you on your toes the whole time (which also makes it a quick read). The emotion and writing is so real that you’ll actually feel like your part of this book! Judy Blume, #1 New York Times best selling author, writes yet another hit that will make you want to read it all in one day. The emotion is a pretty content state of love but at parts could be like a bumpy rollercoaster. Feeling angered one minute and then loving the next and back and forth.
I would recommend this book to teenage girls between the ages of 13 and 16 because they are real feelings that age group would enjoy and may even be experiencing. I would also recommend it if you have read and liked any other Judy Blume books. Forever… by Judy Blume is a classic hit that will keep you wondering who Katherine will end up with in the end.
